Looking for titles for your book club or discussion group—with enough copies for all of your members? The Library's Book-Club-To-Go may be your answer.
A Book Club Set consists of multiple copies of a book (at least 6), for use by book clubs and book discussion groups. Discussion guides for each title are also available.
You can browse the list within the catalogue. The lists are divided into two categories: Fiction and Non-Fiction.
Book Club Sets may be borrowed by any book club. Members of the club may check out a single copy or several copies of a title for distribution to club members.
The person who checks out the book or books is responsible for returning them.
Call the library at 519-539-4801 and ask for Jackie Thompson to arrange to check out the set. You may even arrange to hold your meeting at the library at no charge, pending room availability. You may reserve the set for your book club for a particular time period. It is not possible to place holds on Book Club Sets on your own through the online catalogue.
Book Club Set copies are normally checked out for six weeks. Ask if you require a different loan period.
